We arrived at the airport of Shanghai at 11am . We caught Metro to the Station (bus ) Shanghai Zhongshan North Road ( No. 1015 Zhongshan North Road, Zhabei District (near Hutai Road) . The bus to Jiuhuajie Village leaves the station at 05:25 , 13:45 and 15:55 , 16:25 and takes about 5 hours. The bus station is上海 巴士 高速 客运 有限公司 沪太
We caught taxi to the hotel. The taxi driver stopped to buy entrance tickets in Jiuhuajie Village.

2 Day
We woke up early , at 6:30 am we walked to the bus leaving directly to Mount Jiuhua . It is quite near the hotel. The bus stops at the entrance to the ski lifts Pine Station Car Phoenix Cable Fare . The cable cars are expensive , we opted throughout the trip by cable car up and down the foot. We visited many mountains and hills are quite harsh. So We saved up our time and legs at the same time we saw another view of the landscape.
We visited the top of the mountain all day . The walks are well marked. We went back down the road on foot. The road went near the bus , we take to the village . We slept in the same hotel the night before.

Instead of taking the cable car Baisuigong, we decided to walk up. It is near the hotel, on this day we do not need to catch bus. We visited the temples on top, spectacular, with beautiful views of Jiuhuajie Village. The routes in China are well marked in all the mountains. We went down a different route that we had climbed.
We reached the village at lunch time.
After lunch we went to the hotel search the backpacks, and down walk to the bus leaving the village, towards the city Jiuhuashan, so we can take the bus to Tangkou. It was a little difficult, we were told that there was no bus until a Mrs. who spoke no English told by gestures that would take us in but we were not realized well. Then she stopped on the road and signaled to come out, we were confused without realizing it, she said bus bus. Finally realized we were there that stopped the bus bound for Tangkou. Very friendly Mrs., was not a taxi driver and did not want money. We ended up offer € 2, but she insisted she did not want. When the bus stopped, she explained to revising the bus'que we wanted to go to Tangkou. When we arrived the reviewer told us to leave. We do well we realized where we were just at the hotel with the Chinese English translator is that we realized that we were in Tangkou.
We slept in a restaurant that had rooms for 10 € Very well located , close to the buses leaving for the Yellow Mountain Huangshan.

4 Day
We caught the bus to the Yellow Mountain , which left us with the Yungu cable car entrance. It is possible to walk up , but this mountain is very hard , the hardest of all we visited , so we advise . Once you reach the top by cable car , much remains to rise and fall. Inside the mountain still to another lift , we had to use. We took us all day to visit the mountain, wanted to give full circle at Xihai Grand Canyon , we start with the left side that has fewer tourist. It's a long descent. The views are incredible , the photos can not show the real wonder. We take tent and sleeping bag and camping wanted , but we were afraid that does not allow us , as we had read on various sites , however for what we realize there is no problem to make camp .

When we saw it was getting late , we help each young people to tell us where we were map area . It is highly recommended to take in Chinese maps so that people can help . Later found a young man who spoke English , who told us that it was best we go down right until the bottom and we catch the monorail tie to the area of the hotel . The Monorail is cable car which is situated roughly halfway through the Xihai Grand Canyon. We ended up following his suggestion . Camp alone, but not far from the hotels.

5 Day
Ended our visit on top of Yellow Mountain , we began the descent to the bus stop , which took us back to Tangkou . We return to the same hotel where we leave the large suitcase to go up to the Yellow Mountain . It was late afternoon when we arrive.

6 Day
We move the bus stop to catch him bus to Hongcun Village, however the bus was leaving only in the afternoon, so we decided to take a shared taxi for 25CNY per person.
We had booked the hotel natural Hongcun Home Furnishing Inn
酒店 名称: 宏村 自然 家居 客栈 which was in Lu Village and not in Hongcun Vilage. Soon we get upset, but then we realized, it was the best option, since Lu Village was close to Hongcum, I could go on foot and was very quiet and beautiful. In addition, the hotel was the best of the whole trip for only 50 CNY for both about 7€.
Our room was new, very clean, had a typical balcony, and was just above the river. It was beautiful and had a private bathroom.
After leaving the bags at the hotel we went to visit Hongcun Village. It is beautiful , but it has many Chinese tourists, which makes it very noisy and crowded. Students of arts, go there to paint his paintings really paintings and photos are beautiful .

7 Day
On this day we were to go visit Xidi Village , but as the entries are very expensive , 190cny per person, and the Xidi did not seem as spectacular as the Hongcun , we ended up not going . We take the opportunity to visit our Lu Village. After the visit we took the backpacks and walked to the entrance of Hongcun Village , where buses leave for the city of Huangshan. We arrived in Yushan at 6 : 36h. We arrange a hotel to leave the big bag and caught a shared taxi to Sanqingshan Mountain by 50CNY . The shared taxi turns out to be cheaper than the bus , since we pay the taxi to the bus station.

Two Chinese who did not speak English they talked with us by phone translator. They were very friendly. After we get to Sanqingshan Mountain, we buy the lift tickets and entrance into the mountain. We started our visit to the mountain with the largest board in the world . Several kilometers plank surrounding the mountaintop . Is beautiful. That night we took our tent and sleeping bag and camped .
9 Day
On this day we continue to walk. This mountain has some temples and monasteries.
After lunch we began our descent to the foot of the mountain. At the end of the descent we caught the bus back to Yushan , where we were going to have night train to Zhangjiajie . On long train journeys like this we chose the seat hard bed . It was a good choice.
Yushan is possible to take bus to the station, but as our communication with them is difficult , we ended up catching a taxi for 20CNY . Our train departed at 00: 09h

10 Day
The train arrived at 17: 45h the Zhangjiajie station.
From here we walk to our hostel , asking the way direction. The hotel's name was in Chinese and clear directions were given to us by gestures.
We stayed at the hostel Zhang jia jie lu xing ke zhan張家界and路 行 客棧, was reasonable and paid 50CNY by double room with private bathroom.
11 Day
This day was dedicated to Tianmen and its glass walkways . We shook up the city in the largest cable car in the world . At first the day was good, but quickly began to form clouds. This was the day we had less luck with the views . We can not complain because we have seen God's cable car portal , but in time to go through it on foot, saw nothing , was all shrouded in clouds . Tianmen easily visit it in a day and is well worth the visit. Down came on foot and caught bus into town . Tonight we sleep in the same hostel the night before.
12 Day
We caught city bus to Wulingyuan . Here a little walk to the entrance of the scenic area where we bought the entry ticket , valid for three days . We caught the bus , included in the entry for Bailong Elevator, a glass elevator carved into the rock . We went up the elevator and visited Yuanjiajie Scenic Area , where the movie " Avatar " was filmed . It is divine .
After visiting the area caught bus to Tianzi Mountain. We chose the route that goes towards the train. There are still a few kilometers to walk, with beautiful views . We caught the train and then the bus to the area of Baofeng Elevator . We wanted to find a place to sleep and we were told by the people , by gestures , only rising again the elevator , and walking 10 minutes met a hostel, with cheap rooms , about 70CNY . So, we had to pay again Baofeng Elevator , and dorminos said the hostel . I do not know the name, was in Chinese.
13 Day
It was still dark when we left the hotel. We take the opportunity to visit one last time Yuangjiajie Scenic Area - Avatar movie. And then we caught bus to Yangjiajie Scenic Area . Do not go down by cable car , for all the sights are beautiful walk . It is wonderful. We love it. We were with a bit of a hurry because we had to take bus to the city of Zhangjiajie , since we had train at 16: 20h bound for Huashan . So it was, after the descent caught the bus and said we got to town around 14: 45h

14 Day
We arrived at Huashan at 10 : 00h . We keep the large backpack , bought gloves and caught a taxi for 30CNY to the mountain. The taxi driver left us on the cable car that leads to the north peak.
After we begin our ascent cable car , we noticed that it was snowing on the mountain top . Nothing could foresee when we reached the base of the cable car station . When we reached the top we started our journey to the south peak. We asked where we could find a cheap room and told us that the south peak had cheap rooms . Cheap nothing , we pay 300CNY after negotiating the price. As it was snowing and bitterly cold , our camping plans took effect.
On that day we visited the south and west peak. We slept in the monastery , was so cold that luck was the electric blanket.
15 Day
We were lucky in this day does not snowing and the views appeared. Then visited the South peak again , peack and midle east peak . Although it was sunny , the temperatures were around - 6 degrees and there was a very slippery ice cover . We had to walk very carefully. Wood pancha was closed for this reason , too bad .
We passed the monastery where we had left the bags and began the descent to the north peak. We visited the north peak and decided to walk down . We have chosen a longer but more spectacular way. It's not what goes down next to the lift , is the other , had many people to make this route , both upwards and downwards .. We were a bit in a hurry , because we had train at 18: 20h bound for Chongqing.
16 Day
At 06: 25h we arrive at Chongqing North , where we caught the high speed train to Chengdu East . We had to take a bus to change the normal train station, for high speed . It is not hard , people helped us . It is a few minutes by bus , since it comes from the same station , only different areas.
Chengdu East caught train to Leshan . The station caught a taxi to the Giant Buddha. We left the big backpack near the giant Buddha and then went to visit the park. Quickly see the park , half a day is enough. At the end of the visit we caught shared taxi to Emeishan where we were going to spend the night in Lejia Hotel by 77CNY . The hotel is very good and is very well located.
17 Day
In the morning we walked to the bus stop , which took us to the cable car that climbs to the top of Mount Emeishan . The Emeishan mountain is too large, the trip took about 2 hours . After we arrived we noticed that the weather was rainy and cloudy. We started the cable car ascent , and on arrival at the top realized it was sunlight as this mountain 3000 meters above sea level , passing above the clouds . We visited the top , the various monasteries and then inciamos the descent. The descent is quite long, it must be about 30 or 40 km .
It takes attention to wild monkeys were attacked 2 times, one of them stole us a backpack full of fruit. On the way down there are several temples and a basement , which is worth a visit . We camped in the middle of the descent .

12 Day

Early in the morning we caught taxi to the bus station that buses had to Ya'an . The bus went out at 8 : 00 and took about 1 ½ hours . After we got caught a motorized which led us to the buses to Bifeng Gorge - the panda base.
We visited the panda base during the rest of the day . We started the walk to the entrance of the panda base. We visited the base. In the late afternoon we caught the bus , included in the ticket to the park entrance . From there we caught the bus to Ya'an . Then we picked direct bus to Chengdu. We slept in Chengdu, a hostel for 160CNY was quite expensive but as we were tired and it was late , we ended up staying .
20 Day
This was the day of our departure . The plane left Chengdu at 20: 00h , so we took advantage of the day to visit Chendu . We caught bus to help people to Wuhou Temple ( Temple of Marquis Wu Memorial ) . It's nothing special, but it seems to be the most beautiful attraction of the city of Chengdu. We visited quietly and then went back to the hotel by bus and then metro . Take the subway map , gives immense way . The metro has signs in English and Chinese. We rested a bit and caught underground again to the stop where you get off a direct bus to the airport - exit Jinjiang Hotel . The hotel gave us a map in English, which had this indication.
And thus ended our trip.
Travel backpack in China is not easy , since the people do not speak English. Even worse is when we move away from big cities , toward the sacred mountains . Because of our difficulties we decided to create this blog to help other independent travelers .
Tips for traveling:
- Take a Chinese English translator in your smart phone . We did not take and soon realized it was very important . In China you can not access your Google or the playstore , so we can't draw the translator offline. We were going the wifi in the hostel using the online translator and took them out photographs to Chinese characters. Only in this way can " get away " .
- Raise money at the airport on arrival. Please note that not all banks and ATM 's give to raise money . This was another mistake ours. Not raise money at the airport , we exchanged only 100 € for CNY and pay a fee of 10 € . Not worth changing money. Banks that give to raise money are Bank of China and ICBC China Bank
Costs: The entire trip cost us € 3,000 for both, ie € 1,500 per person. China is not a cheap country, the entries in the tourist sites are very expensive. This includes our flight from Madrid , drive to Madrid and a car park in Madrid.
